_'twilight [12.1]' is a direct response to the idea/reality that the Twilight films are heavily fantasized over. The attempt to erase all element of human life from the movie still is an attempt to create a blank setting for fantasizing to take place. This process not only explore the nature of "day-dreaming" about fantasy, but also explore what makes a film such as Twilight appealing and successful. 12 minutes & 1 second refers to the length of the actual movie, 121 minutes. The stills from the movie were captured systematically by scrolling through the film on the computer and capturing each automatically-stopped still throughout.
